Simpson’s Paves Friendship Kickstarted By Hair ‘Trauma’

Jessica Simpson struck up a friendship with her best pal Ken Paves when he rescued her from a serious hair trauma. Simpson was devastated when a bleaching job went horribly wrong and her record label sent her to hairstylist Paves to rescue her crowning glory. She says, “My hair was, like, to my waist. I was a Texas girl. “It was, like, long hair that was only processed with Aqua Net and highlights. And somebody bleached it, and then they had to cut it because everything broke off. “All of a sudden, my record label completely freaked out and called. They were like, ‘Who does extensions? This guy named Ken. He does J.Lo. You’re going to him tonight.’”
