Jessica’s video for ‘Come on Over‘ from her debut country music album ‘Do You Know‘ debuted at #3 on Country Music Television (CMT).

“Wow! I just wanted to thank y’all for voting for my video! I can’t believe it debuted at 3 on CMT! Your love and devotion is making my dreams come true!” an ecstatic Jessica wrote in a post on her official website.

Jessica Simpson is set to join her boyfriend Tony Romo on the football field, sort of. She has signed on to star alongside him in a new sports show.

Simpson was criticized for supporting the Dallas Cowboys quarterback from the stands last year when her attendance coincided with a losing streak.

But the negative press hasn’t put her off agreeing to appear in an episode of Hard Knocks, a series that shows fans the inner-workings of football camps.

Jessica is gracing the cover of Elle Magazine in their new issue. In the article Jessica opens up about a lot of things, such as her ex-boyfriend John Mayer, current boyfriend Tony Romo and a surprising revelation that she was once abused. Read some excerpts below:

On “Remember That” – her new song about abuse: “I had to record that. There’s nothing on my album that you’re gonna hear that I don’t relate to or that I haven’t experienced. Because the only way I know how to sing is from life experience. I don’t want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run.”

On past problems with love: “I was going through a lot of pain. I didn’t try anything to change my life other than dating different types of guys and conforming to their worlds. I thought I had to be artsier, more intellectual.”

Jessica Simpson has furiously denied reports and speculation her father Joe Simpson wields control over her love life, branding the reports “ludicrous”.

Joe, who is also Jessica and Ashlee’s manager, has long been rumored to be making decisions regarding who his daughters date. It was even reported in the tabloids earlier this year that Tony Romo had ended his relationship with Jessica after growing sick of Joe interfering with their romance.
