Jessica Simpson and her family have severed all ties with her one-time hubby Nick Lachey a published report will claim this week. The buxom actress and singer has been keeping busy with work since their break up, but she has noticed Nick has been busy as well.

Although it’s not with much business - it’s mostly with pleasure.

Lachey has gone though a bevy of beauties and is showing no signs of slowing down reports Life & Style in its upcoming Friday edition.

The reports have ranged from alleged flings with Elizabeth Ann Arnold to Kristin Cavallari to a rumored rendezvous with Kristin Chenoweth. Any news on Nick is mainly about his dating habits.

The magazine gives this account in an item aptly titled, “So Long, Nick!”

The Simpson family has severed all ties to Nick, says an insider. Things had been amicable after the breakup — until Nick began flaunting his love life and asking for a portion of Jessica’s money in the divorce papers.

That’s when Jess and her family turned their backs on him.

“He doesn’t know where his heart is,” says a Lachey family friend. An insider adds, “He’s with one girl after another, trying to forget Jess. It’s not about commitment for Nick now. He isn’t above having lots of fun with lots of lovely ladies.”

Here we go again. The Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey, and Jess BFF CaCee Cobb triangle has been reignited with a CaCee-Nick Vegas spotting.

Where was Jessica Simpson - she’s down under - half a world away.

The snaps and video look innocent enough - the pair are talking with full champagne glasses backstage at Pamela Anderson’s performance with the Pussycat Dolls in Las Vegas.

But that won’t dampen the rumors after those hot and heavy reported sightings at Level 3 nightclub in LA on Jan. 29.

That report then was from Life & Style and had Nick and Jess assistant CaCee canoodling and in that report a source said the couple were getting a little too close.

“The two were all over each other,” said an eyewitness, at the time that reportedly knows both Nick and CaCee.

“Nick had his arms wrapped around her, and he was kissing her all over the side of her face and neck. Her arms were around him, too.”

A second witness at the bash, thrown by Wilmer, confirms the account. That story brought strong denials then.

What say you Nick - denials again? Nick pleads innocent - he told the television show ‘EXTRA’ that the two are just friends.

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson may be divorced, but according to behind-the-scenes observers, it isn’t really over for Jessica. When Simpson got word of Lachey’s possible fling with MTV’s Laguna Beach hottie, Kristin Cavallari, word has it she started placing crank calls to her cellphone. According to an article in Star magazine:
“Jessica Simspon has been a busy woman lately: filming Employee of the Month in New Mexico, planning to adopt a child and finalizing her divorce from Nick Lachey. But she’s still found time to fret about her ex’s love life! It seems that she’s gotten worked up over the recent romance between Nick, 32, and Laguna Beach’s Kristin Cavallari, says a source. Though Nick and Kristin’s month-long dalliance ended mid-March, the source says Jessica was so upset about it that she’s using practical jokes to get her revenge — by crank-calling Kristin!”

“Jessica, 25, got especially upset after she saw her photo right next to Kristin’s in a magazine, says the source. “She was furious. She thought it was insulting and embarrassing to be lumped together with Kristin! As far as Jessica is concerned, Kristin’s a nobody, [a] 19- year-old reality-TV star who has just been using Nick for free publicity.” And in no time, “Jessica got hold of Kristin’s cell-phone number and got a real kick out of making crank calls to it.”

“Though a rep for Jessica denies the story, the source claims: “She’ll ring Kristin up and just say nothing or try to order pizza or Chinese food and talk in different accents! She’s even gotten some of her friends in on it. The pranks are harmless, but I think Jessica likes knowing that she’s irritating Kristin in some way.” As for what Kristin thinks, the source adds, “I don’t think she knows it’s Jessica crank-calling her — I’m sure she’ll have a fit when she finds out!”

Life in Los Angeles is a lot of things - but apparently if you venture out with the party girl celebrity circuit - it is never boring. This week Us Weekly is set to report that Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson are at it again with la Lohan reportedly calling Jess ‘a coward.’

That’s right another A-List catfight in LA allegedly complete with tears.

The magazine teases the story on their blog saying it looked like a sequel to Mean Girls at the L.A. bar The Dime on April 6.

According to multiple onlookers, Lindsay Lohan became enraged when she sent over a round of drinks to Jessica Simpson and director Brett Ratner (After the Sunset, Rush Hour) — who were sitting at a nearby table – and neither bothered to thank her.

Relays a source:

“Lindsay said, ‘What’s the matter? When your sister is around, you can talk s–t about me, but now that Ashlee’s not here, what are you going to do? C’mon! I’m 19 and you’re 25. Say something, you coward!’ ”

The cover of the magazine even claims Mean Girl Lindsay made Jessica cry.

I thought the LA bars had given Lindsay and her underage pals the boot. Maybe that’s what Jess could have said to her. If the account is accurate - anyone else think la Lohan will make a beeline towards Nick Lachey the next time they are in the same room?

I’m guessing denials will come soon from Camp Lohan.

Showbiz starlets Jessica and Ashlee Simpson proved the family that plays together stays together when they stepped out for a fun-packed day of shopping and sightseeing with their parents in Sydney yesterday. Newly single Dukes of Hazzard babe Jessica touched down early yesterday morning in a show of sisterly support for junior Simpson Ashlee, who will host and perform at the MTV Awards tomorrow night.

But before official duties commence today, the Simpson sisters – flanked by their parents and managers Joe and Tina – wasted no time checking out the best in what Sydney has to offer visiting celebs.
“It’s been a while since we’ve all been together as a family so it’s really nice – it’s the start of our Easter vacation,” Ashlee told Confidential.
“We just want to all spend time together and relax and enjoy it.”
And enjoy it they did. In keeping with her tag as one of America’s most stylish sweethearts, Jessica had been in town for all of two hours before a wave of retail therapy madness hit. With her cowboy boots made for walking, Jess hit the strip on Oxford St with Tina, where she stocked up on goodies from designer boutiques Alannah Hill and Stellino.

Meanwhile Ashlee _”I’m so in love”_ hung out with skateboarding boyfriend and band member Braxton Olita and father Joe while waiting to board a luxury pleasure cruiser at Darling Harbour. All Simpsons aboard, the showbiz family picked up some superstar takeaway from Woolloomooloo noshery Otto before soaking up the sun on the Harbour.

American entertainer Jessica Simpson has arrived in Australia as a last minute guest for this week’s MTV Australian Video Music Awards. The singer/actress, whose sister Ashlee Simpson is hosting the event in Sydney on Wednesday night, arrived on an early morning Qantas flight from Los Angeles. She was ushered through a VIP customs exit, greeted by around a dozen photographers and television camera crews.
“I’m so excited. It’s been so long since I’ve been here,” the 25-year-old said.
Organisers would not say what role Simpson would have in the MTV event, which will be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park on Wednesday. But the starlet, who was wearing a white jacket, ripped jeans and brown cowboy boots, said she was looking forward to seeing her sister.
“I can’t wait to see her.”
Simpson is best known for her starring turn in the movie The Dukes of Hazzard, as well as reality TV show Newlyweds, in which she and her now estranged husband, Nick Lachey, were followed around by a television crew.
