Singer-turned actress Jessica Simpson sparked several rumors that she was consulting a cosmetic surgeon after she was spotted going into a medical building in Beverley Hills, according to a published report.
As we all know, a few weeks ago, Jessica’s little sister Ashley went under the knife and had the bump on her nose shaved off.
Jessica, 25, entered the office building of top cosmetic surgeon Dr. Arnie Klein, so she may be considering getting something done, but is that who she was really going to see?
The National Enquirer scoops: ‘While Jessica did consult with a medical specialist on May 19, it had nothing to do with improving her looks. She went to see a psychiatrist.’
An inside source explains, “No one knows for sure what Jessica discussed, but it was clear that she was seeking help for something very troubling.”
“Her hand was trembling as she reached for the door, and she looked like she was desperately trying to fight back tears as she went back out to face the world.”
Another source adds, “It’s anyone’s guess what the real issue is. But there’s lots of speculation.”
“Jessica’s definitely not over Nick. Their divorce is steamrolling through, but she hasn’t really looked happy since they split.”
“And then there’s her father. Joe Simpson single-handedly put Jessica on the map. She’s fighting hard now to assert her own independence - and that’s not easy for a young woman who’s been told all her life what to do, what to say and what to wear.”
“Whatever her issues, Jessica should be commended for seeking professional help. It’s the only way she can truly become her own woman.”

Jessica Simpson has offered Nick Lachey what is an “insulting” property settlement offer, banking on the assumption that Lachey does not want to press the matter in court.
Multiple sources connected with the former couple tell TMZ that Simpson has offered Lachey less than $1.5 million to settle the division of property. Under California law, Lachey would be entitled to half of what the couple earned during their marriage. The Associated Press reports that in 2004 alone, Simpson raked in $30 million.
We’re told that Simpson’s reps believe that Lachey will fold because he does not want to make it appear that he is after her money. They also know that Lachey is still in love with his estranged wife and believe he does not have the stomach to square off with her in court.
Indeed, sources have confirmed to TMZ that Joe Simpson, Jessica’s dad, has called Nick, urging him to take the settlement so the two can “end as friends.” And other friends and reps of Jessica have contacted Nick, trying to pressure him into a settlement.
Sources say Lachey “absolutely will not ask for spousal support,” even though legally he has a right to press that claim. He will not, however, accept a paltry settlement that in no way approaches what he would be legally entitled to under the law.
In 2004 Jessica said, “If anything were to happen to me and Nick, I’ve had a great life with him and he would deserve half of everything I have.” It appears she has had a radical change of heart.

Reports still claim that Jessica Simpson is far from over Nick Lachey, even tough it certainly seems like he has moved on. And now a new report is claiming that Jessica is troubled enough that she is seeking professional help to assist her with her reported Nick woes.
Rick Egusquiza writes that Jess created quite a buzz in Beverly Hills as she entered the medical building of Dr. Arnie Klein, a top cosmetic surgeon.
But reportedly Jess didn’t want a little nip/tuck; she was there to consult with a psychiatrist on May 19 reports the Enquirer.
“No one knows for sure what Jessica discussed but it was clear that she was seeking help for something very troubling,” an insider told the weekly tabloid.
Added another source - cited by the magazine - “Jessica’s definitely not over Nick. There divorce is steamrolling through, but she hasn’t looked happy since the split.”
Some reports say the divorce settlement could be less than three weeks away.
And is this report pans out - and Jessica is indeed that troubled about the split - kudos for her for seeking help from a professional.
Nick and Jess fans are still desperately hoping for reconciliation - but with each passing day - it seems less likely.

Jessica Simpson has reportedly made the first move and reached out to Nick Lachey and in a move that will give fans hope may be willing to reconcile with her estranged hubby a published report claims.
New York City’s Ritz-Carlton hotel just before 3 p.m. on May 10, Jessica Simpson let out a heavy, sad sigh and said, “I’m tired of being alone,†Simpson told a friend, according to Life & Style Weekly.
“I have no one to come home to, no one to call at the end of the night. I’m traveling all over the place by myself. When I was with Nick, I had someone who understood what I was going through.â€
Indeed.
The magazine details in a story for publication this week that the one time couple’s friends are urging the couple to give it one more shot.
Those pals are urging her to get back together with Lachey, and Simpson, when she heard that his TV pilot “She Said, He Said†wouldn’t be picked up, reportedly sent him an orchid and a basket of his favorite pinwheel cookies, reports the mag.
“That really cheered him up,†says an insider.
They’d better hurry as divorce lawyers are reportedly close to hammering out the final details of the multi-million dollar split, the report states.
But there’s hope - as always with this couple - “Don’t be surprised if they get back together,” a friend tells the weekly.

Is Jessica Simpson regretting her split from Nick Lachey?
Sure sounds that way, sources say. The former “Newlyweds†star is “struggling with loneliness,†according to Life & Style Weekly.
“I’m tired of being alone,†Simpson told a friend, according to the mag. “I have no one to come home to, no one to call at the end of the night. I’m traveling all over the place by myself. When I was with Nick, I had someone who understood what I was going through.â€

The divorce lawyers are close to finalizing a deal, but some close to Simpson say that she hopes they’ll reconcile before the split is a done deal. “It would be explosive,†a “pal†told the mag, “and they’re both attracted to fireworks.â€

I really really hope this is true! That would be so wonderful =)

First, former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari was linked with Jessica Simpson’s ex-husband – and now she’s being eyed for Simpson’s movie role.
Bill Gerber, the producer of last year’s The Dukes of Hazzard, tells PEOPLE in its new issue that he is working on a prequel to the movie that brought Simpson (and her rear view) film fame – and he thinks Cavallari, 19, would fill out those Daisy Duke shorts quite nicely.
“She’s at the top of the list,” he says. “I like her innocence and her beauty.”
Why not just stick with Simpson, 25? “It’s a prequel, like Batman (Begins),” he says. “We’re going for a whole new cast.”
Simpson and husband Nick Lachey, 32, announced in November 2005 that they were separating. In March, Lachey and Cavallari were spotted flirting at various restaurants and parties – although Cavallari told PEOPLE, “There’s nothing to talk about, there’s nothing going on. He’s a nice guy, but I’d have to say we’re just friends.”
Reps for Cavallari and Simpson did not return calls.
I really hope they don’t choose Kristin - Jessica is way better!
