Jessica Simpson’s manager-dad Joe has hit out at claims he spied on his daughter’s ex-husband singer/actor Nick Lachey before the couple divorced last month. The New York Daily News reports a source claimed the protective father was desperate to keep an eye on Lachey in the seven-month separation before the split was finalized in court.

He allegedly even bullied a club boss to grant access to security videotapes on evenings Lachey had attended with girls in tow. The source says, “Joe was looking to incriminate Nick. He told the club, ‘If you ever want to see my daughter there, you’ll give me what I want.’”

A representative for the Simpson family have dismissed the story as absurd.

Jessica Simpson reportedly had last-minute second thoughts about divorcing husband Nick Lachey.

According to Star magazine, Jessica called Nick in an attempt to reconcile before their divorce was finalised last month.

A source told the magazine: “Nick reminded her that it was she — not him — who initiated the divorce.”

“It wasn’t an easy conversation – Jess was very emotional. But Nick was relieved when he got word the divorce had been finalized. It’s easy to see why.”

Yesterday JessicaSimpsonFan.net got THOUSANDS upon thousands of visitors and I just couldn’t figure out why. This site is relatively new and I still have a lot of promoting to do, so yeah, basically I was shocked to see how the site suddenly got a huge boost out of nowhere.
I today found out why. Thanks to Maria Sansone over at Yahoo TV for mentioning my site and the pictures of Jessica in Cabo on her birthday. Thanks to her and Yahoo the site has been given a huge publicity boost. So thank you thank you! =D

And because of the huge increase in visitors my stupid host actually took down my site, so that is why it was down a lot yesterday =( But hopefully that won’t happen again. They’ll lose a costumer if it does =P

Jessica Simpson is desperate for a fresh start after going through a tumultuous year working through her divorce from ex-husband Nick Lachey. The ‘With You’ star turned 26 on 10 July (06) and is looking forward to starting over with a clean slate. She explains, “This last year for me has been a very intense year. It’ll be nice to turn 26 and come into a new year with a different perspective. “I think every year you become more clear about why it is you’re here. “I’ll start a new journal. The colours I choose for my journals always reflect the mood I’m in. And if I don’t have the right colour pen, I won’t write. “I think this new journal will be white. I want a clean, fresh start.”

Pop star Jessica Simpson is saving up her for her first boob job because she’s convinced she’ll need cosmetic help after she has kids. The busty blonde insists she’s more than happy with her “perky” breasts but accepts they won’t always be perfect. She says, “If I have kids, and they’re hanging to my waist, that’s when I might start to think about having something done to them. Right now, they’re perky and cute.”
