Pop diva Jessica Simpson embarked upon a visit to Florida to join her boyfriend singer John Mayer for part of his tour in Florida.

A source has revealed that the 26-year-old arrived in Miami early on Monday to meet up with Mayer, 29, at the Four Seasons Hotel.

“Jessica flew in very early after a red-eye flight on Monday morning and spent the day with her boyfriend,” Contactmusic quoted the source as telling Us Weekly.

“They went to the gym and the spa before going out for the evening,” the source added.

Sources said that the couple had a romantic sushi dinner at the Shore Club`s Nobu in South Beach, and arrived at the restaurant holding hands.

They left the place at around 11:30pm, and spent the night together in the Four Seasons` Presidential Suite, says the report.

The pair will board Mayer’s tour buss on Tuesday, and travel together to Jacksonville, Florida, where he is scheduled to perform on Thursday night.

Jessica Simpson and her ex-husband Nick Lachey will battle it out in the U.K. singles chart next week, when they simultaneously release songs about their failed relationship, according to UTC news.

Jessica Simpson releases her track “A Public Affair” to counter Nick Lachey’s “What’s Left Of Me” and even plays on the upcoming battle in her press release.

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey split in November 2005 after three years of marriage, and were divorced in June 2006.

Willie Nelson will be joined by Jessica Simpson at a Dallas fundraiser on Feb. 10 at the Nokia Theatre. Proceeds benefit the AetheriA Foundation, which provides college scholarships for artistically gifted students. The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Dallas Black Dance Theater and Cirque du Soleil will also perform. Kinky Friedman will emcee the event. Tickets are $50 to $1,000. Nelson and Simpson co-starred in the 2005 film version of The Dukes of Hazzard.

Jessica Simpson is taking secret cookery lessons so she can serve up a home-cooked meal to boyfriend John Mayer on St. Valentine’s Day. The famously ditzy singer/actress is planning to show off her culinary skills during a planned February 10 get-together with Mayer, who will be touring on St. Valentine’s Day itself.

A source tells Life & Style magazine, “She’s been taking cooking classes and poring over cookbooks, trying to come up with the perfect meal. I think John will be impressed.”

The couple has yet to come clean about their romance, but after denying initial rumors of a love match last year, Simpson and Mayer were spotted together at parties and intimate gatherings over Christmas and New Year.

There was a time when Jessica Simpson hated her ample chest. These days, she has made peace with the girls.

“I always felt they disabled me from what I wanted to do,” she said in a recent interview. “Now, I own them. They’re like wearing a great necklace.”

Jessica has said her breasts almost ruined her dream of pursuing a career as a singer because the men in her church thought her chest was too distracting for her to perform solos, although that says a lot more about Jessica’s church than it does about her chest.

However, they proved to be perfectly suited for her current career as a good-hearted pop bimbo.

“You can’t pay for that sort of accessory, though I know people do,” she continued. “But they never look as good at the real ones.”

Jessica Simpson was asked to leave her local market by the store’s manager after she caused a media frenzy that was proved to be bad for business. The singer was attempting to shop for groceries when a storm of photographers descended on the store trying to get a shot of Simpson shopping. She explains, “Two weeks ago, I was at Whole Foods and probably about 100 photographers were outside waiting for me. “The manager gave me his card and said, ‘Jessica, I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t come in during store hours. “Give me a call and I’ll open up early or you can come in after we close. But this is very distracting for all my customers.’ “I looked at him kind of shocked. Then I was just mad, not at him, but at the situation. I couldn’t even live my normal life anymore.”
