Jessica Simpson has finished shooting Major Movie Star and is back in Los Angeles. Jessica was spotted leaving club Les Deux in Hollywood a few days ago, wearing jeans and a white top that revealed her toned body.

Jessica Simpson is hopeful she will not need to undergo surgery on her nose after damaging it on the set of her latest movie.

Talking about the incident, Simpson told In Touch Weekly: “It’s still all bruised and swollen. The magic of make-up is doing wonders. Hopefully, when the swelling goes down, my nose will go back to normal.”

Reports last week revealed that the Dukes of Hazzard actress had broken her nose while shooting for the film Major Movie Star. The singer-turned-actress has denied these allegations, insisting that it was only badly bruised.

A rep for the star commented: “She was in a combat scene and accidentally hit herself with a big gun on her nose. But she was able to continue shooting the movie”

They added: “Her nose is not broken, she did not have to have it reset.”

The manager of Shreveport, Louisiana’s Olive Street Bistro has offered Jessica Simpson a regular spot on his stage after the busty blonde stunned locals with an impromptu performance there on 5 August. The singer, who has been filming new film Major Movie Star nearby, stepped up to the piano when restaurant dishwasher Marshall Collier sat down to play for diners. And restaurant manager Fernando Maldonado was thrilled when Simpson crooned classics like Midnight Train To Georgia and Desperado for his guests. He says, “It was so fantastic. Jessica is welcome back here any time.” Simpson booked a table at the Shreveport diner to celebrate pal and hair stylist Ken Paves’ birthday.

The actress/singer commissioned jewellery designer Maya Brenner to create the 14-karat gold pendants, which she handed out as gifts at the film’s wrap party. Texan Simpson chose Louisiana as the pendant shape because the comedy movie was shot in Shreveport, Louisiana. Internet gossip Marc Malkin claims each pendant cost the bubbly blonde $300.

The producer of Jessica Simpson’s upcoming film Major Movie Star has denied reports the actress is behaving like a diva onset. Filmmaker Randall Emmett insists stories of Simpson arriving late on a daily basis and making big demands are completely untrue. He says, “Jessica’s fun, committed and focused. She is a team player and she makes it fun. She’s a workhorse. Jessica is a total pro.”

Sources tell The National Enquirer in their latest issue that Jessica is anything but pleasant on the set of her new movie Major Movie Star. According to Michael K of D-Listed a source tells the magazine, “Jessica is acting like a spoiled brat. She throws tantrums and gripes about the heat. After a week of having to tolerate her, we’re all ready for her to pack her bags and hit the road.”

The chatty insider continues, “Jessica barely speaks to her co-star, Vivica A. Fox, and insists on eating by herself in her trailer rather than in the tents set up for the cast and crew! And while Vivica and everyone else walk the set, Jessica has a driver ferry her from one location to the next – even if she only has to walk 100 feet!”

The magazine claims that Jessica has hired four assistants for the movie and apparently screams at them left and right. “She went on a loud tirade, screaming at the wardrobe people because her outfit was too hot and she was sweating. She spouted the F-word like a sailor. Her F-bombs were heard practically all over the base. Everyone was mortified.”

Michael K muses, You would think that Jessica Simpson would be on her best behavior for her latest and hopefully last movie, “Major Movie Star.” Her last big-screen venture, “Blonde Ambition” looks likely for a DVD debut.

Jessica Simpson is a big spender, she recently admitted to Harper’s Bazaar — big surprise there. But the singer/actress also revealed that while sister Ashlee “goes to a thrift store and can buy something for 20 bucks … I have to go buy a black button-down at Barneys. For $900. Because it’s a collector’s item,” she said in the magazine’s August issue, which features Jessica on the cover. When asked which career she would pick if she had to choose between music and movies, she replied, “In my music career, there have been moments of failure, and with acting I haven’t had that yet. But music is opening up my heart and every emotion inside of me.”

She tells MTV.com, “There’s always fun in a bathing suit. And you know that when people are buying a bathing suit, they’re buying it because they want to go do something to enjoy themselves, and that’s kind of where I’m at in my life.”

Simpson hopes her bathing suits will help women shed their body inhibitions - and admits she suffers from cellulite and “fat rolls.”

She explains, “(I’m) not afraid to celebrate a woman’s body. I do want to inspire people to fall in love with their body and be confident in who they are. I mean, I’ll show you that I have fat rolls. I have cellulite here and there, but I just want people to know that I’m a real person.”

OK! Magazine reports that it has been a year since Jessica Simpson’s divorce to Nick Lachey became final. Now, the pop princess is telling friends that it was the biggest mistake of her life.

Jessica’s family tried to cheer up the sullen single star with balloons and fun outings to celebrate her special day, but to no avail. “It didn’t stop her from being sad,” a friend tells OK! The magazine muses, “With her love life and career in a downward spiral, Jessica’s seriously fears that her success, both professional and romantic, was due to Nick.”
