Jessica arrived in New York City from Los Angeles last night. She of course had Daisy with her again. That dog gets to travel! Jessica is in town to be a part of an ad campaign to kick off the holiday shopping season for Macy’s department stores.

Jessica looked really cute during her performance at Country Thunder USA last night, so I thought I would add some more pictures from the show. There have been very mixed reviews about Jessica’s performance and her doing country music altogether, but from what I’ve heard of her new music so far, it has been great. She is hugely talented and no one can take that away from her! More pictures below and after the jump.

Jessica performed her first live concert in years, at the 16th Annual Country Thunder USA on Shadow Hill Farm in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin last night. Prior to the concert, Jessica, accompanied by Tony and her dog Daisy (above) walked the grounds, signed autographs and posed for pictures. Later on Jessica took to the stage in her cowboy boots and denim shorts (below).

Bikini clad Jessica and little Daisy watched Tony play golf from the lake yesterday afternoon. Jess spotted the paps, gave them a wave and also made Daisy give them a little wave (inset). She is just too cute!

Jessica cheered on her man Tony Romo at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship at Lake Tahoe yesterday. Ashlee and her hubby Pete Wentz were also there. Speaking about Jess coming out to support him, Tony said: “She has been at more sporting events than people know.”

Jessica’s first ever country album is set for a September release and there’s not long to go now.

“I am so nervous,” she tells Extra. “I know this is a part of me that people are going to see that they’ve been waiting to see and I’ve been waiting to let out so it’s very exciting.”

Jessica Simpson has no doubt about what kind of mother her pregnant sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will be: “She’ll be amazing, absolutely amazing,” Jessica Simpson, 27, told People.com in Las Vegas Saturday at the grand opening of Palms Place.

Jessica also says that her sister’s relationship with Pete Wentz helps inspire her own music.

“They’re just the cutest couple in the world,” she says. “They are adorable. Anybody would wish to be them and you can only wish them well. Just being around them inspires love and everything I sing about.”
