While reports have been rampant that Jessica Simpson’s ex Nick Lachey and his new sweetheart Vanessa Minnillo are getting closer, a report has emerged that claims that Jessica Simpson is still shopping for gifts for Nick. A new item from Life & Style Weekly states that the buxom blonde still shops for her one-time hubby and Reality TV co-star and even has had a special blue cashmere sweater made for him as a Christmas gift.
Even more shocking, the report says Jessica wants Nick ‘home’ for Christmas. The report claims that Jessica invited her ex over - not for a reconciliation - but so they can again become friends.
“Jess doesn’t want Nick back,” an insider tells the weekly entertainment magazine. “But they haven’t seen each other in ages, and now she wants to change that.” Another insider says in the magazine that “Jess still cares about Nick,” and the gift and the invitation are meant to show it.
The Post Chronicle notes that a source in the UK has told Britain’s More magazine that Jessica nearly became a recluse after the break up. According to the article an inside tells the magazine:
“Earlier this year, she started staying home more and more. Her problems developed for a while and got worse after her divorce from Nick. She barely left the house unless she was working. It got so bad she suffered panic attacks. It felt as if the world was closing in on her. Her blood pressure rose, she got dizzy and she actually felt as if she was suffocating.”

Too little, too late. Jessica has lost Nick for forever. He has moved on and wouldn’t dare risk getting hurt by her again.

jessica needs to take some time off for her. i am sure she still have feelings for nick but she needs to leave him alone, she wanted the divorce. jessica needs to stop playing with nick feelings. when jess left nick it was extremely hard on him and he has moved on. jessica thinks she can get nick back whenever she wants but nick seems to really be in love with vanessa. when vanessa looks at nick or vice versa they have eyes only for each other. nick deserves somebody that is mature like vanessa. jessica let her dad run nick off. i do not think john mayer will take all this bs like nick did. i thought john mayer was smart enough to let this relationship go, but i guess he enjoy doing threesomes (pimp joe, jess, and john mayer). fans are pissed with john mayer because he lied to them denying he was in a relationship with jess. does john remember jessica and her dad lying that nick & jess were not having problems. maybe joe simpson will hire john in a movie because he is about to be joing jess jessica. fans hate liars!!!
