While it’s apparent that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey are headed for divorce court, she does have a man in her life. And know it’s not daddy Joe Simpson. If you ever catch a glimpse of Jessica, you’ll always see a blonde man with a slender build in the background.
Most Jessica fans know - that guy is Ken Paves.
And Paves is going public. And while he doesn’t give any blockbuster revelations the hairstylist does sit down with Extra for an interview that airs on Wednesday night.
Extra details that Jessica Simpson is at the top of Hollywood’s “best tressed” list, and her secret is stylist Ken Paves.
What started as a client-clientele friendship nearly a decade ago has blossomed into a tremendously strong bond and friendship.
“After 8 years, we’re incredibly great friends,” Paves revealed to “Extra’s” Dayna Devon.
TMZ reports that Paves started out doing hair for strippers just to make ends meet, but eventually worked his way up and was paired with Simpson by her record label eight years ago.
The two have taken their relationship an extra step forward lately though, working together to volunteer for Operation Smile, an organization that performs surgery on disfigured children around the world.
They have also are working on their own brand of hair extensions, and plan to team up with a wig manufacturer to provide extensions and wigs to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
“We’re not curing cancer or things like that, but we can help,” he says of their new endeavors.

hey i just wanted to tell you my thoughts of your marriage to Nick. I am a mom of two and live in Kentucky, you know marriage is hard enough outside of the public eye but you guys have all that extra pressure. Anyway, I have been “keeping up” on the gossip coloms and I’m sure not all of that is true, but one thing I know is you two belong together. The look you guys have for each other is something most relationships would dream of having. I have learned that you can’t listen and take “advise” from family members just listen to your heart and do what you want to do. You know deep in your heart thatyou guys should be together so run with that. I also, like you jessica married at a young age(18)and still in high school,my husband and I have been seperated twice, but you know what our love has survived and I know your marriage can make it too. My last words are try to make it work not for the public eye but for YOUR heart!!! Good luck in all you hope to achieve in life but most of all what you want for your future with your partner in life, after all that is what counts the most above everything else….HAPPINESS!!!
