Jessica Simpson: No ‘Secret’ Dinner Meeting With Nick Lachey

Last week, published reports claimed that Jessica Simpson recently called a top-secret dinner with her ex hubby, Nick Lachey. According to insiders the report claimed that the secret sit down was because Simpson wanted a face to face with Lachey to ask him to not be so loose-lipped in interviews.

Now a Simpson rep says the report is “not true.” The skinny from the Jessica PR member, there was no secret meeting between Jessica and Nick.

According to the initial story, reports “In Touch Weekly,” Nick and Jess enjoyed a hush-hush meeting at her new Beverly Hills mansion for their first “post-split date.”

ITW contacted a member of Team Simpson and asked if the meeting ever took place.

“No – they did not have dinner at Jessica’s House,” a rep dished to In Touch. “They do talk on the phone – but they did not meet up.”

That’s probably not to say that Jessica still didn’t confront Nick over his tell all blab fest to Rolling Stone at least on the phone.

The buxom blonde actress was reportedly not pleased at all that Nick was using the split to get himself a little publicity as he tries to sell his new CD.

And if there was a meeting – would Jessica ever admit it unless she was caught red handed?
