Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey Bond Still Worries Vanessa Minnillo?

Jessica Simpson may always be a part of Nick Lachey’s life and that has his new gal, TRL host Vanessa Minnillo concerned. According to a report from In Touch Weekly the gorgeous MTV host is ready to get serious but wonders why Nick still thinks about Jessica.

The pair do make an adorable couple.

But according to an article in the weekly magazine, Nick still misses Jessica and even watched the re-runs of their old show ‘Newlyweds’ from time to time. The two were together for many years and obviously still have a bond.

Vanessa also reportedly wonders why Nick is not big into PDA’s, according to the item. The article notes this video that is available at TMZ where Vanessa tried desperately to get Nick’s attention and he remained shy.

Harvey Levin writes at TMZ:

Nick Lachey (is) sitting in plain view in an outdoor cafe in Manhattan with a woman who is aggressively making a move on him. Minnillo was clearly salivating more at the prospect of getting photographed than getting kissed by Nick.

The MTV VJ has gotta know that the woman who preceded her (Jessica) did pretty well on Nick’s arm. Not to say he’s being used, but on the other hand….

Us Weekly noted earlier that the reason Nick chose Vanessa over Jessica is that “She’s a guys’ girl,” citing a friend of the couple.

Nick is probably well over Jessica and may just need a bit more time before getting serious with his new gal.
