Jessica Simpson, Jealous Of Angelina Jolie, Wants To Save World

Jessica Simpson, who split from husband Nick Lachey in November 2005, insists she has been inspired to adopt by Angelina Jolie – who now has three adopted children, Maddox and Zahara and Pax.

Jessica Simpson clearly wants children. The singer-and-actress wants to have a big family but fears she may not be able to cope with childbirth more than once.

She told Britain’s Star magazine: “I want to adopt before I actually have my own kids. I want three kids – but I don’t know if I can give birth three times. I’ll have to see how much pain is involved first time round!”

Getting ready. Getting set … She says what’s getting her ready for motherhood are her dogs. They’re putting her into the maternal caregiving mode.’

As well as wanting to adopt, Jessica also wants to “save the world”. Her role model? Angelina of course. Jess confesses: “I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing things. The international adoption rate has skyrocketed.”

Simpson Adds “Ever since I was a kid I said I wanted to save the world somehow, I didn’t know how. I think I’ll end up doing things that can touch somebody in some way that’s good – like through orphanages.”
