Actress Jessica Simpson has never been happier following her divorce, because she has discovered a new perspective on life. The sexy singer/actress, 25, split from former boy band star Nick Lachey in November (05) after a stormy three-year marriage which was documented on the reality TV show Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. And she is convinced she can now realise all of her career ambitions, after her divorce went through in June (06). She says, “I feel free, independent and strong. Once I realised how much I really did want from life, I took on a whole new perspective.” |

Heck, Jess use to say that marriage added so much to her life. “I was made for marriage she said!” Do these celebs wake up each day thinking that life starts right then – forgetting what they’ve said before. I guess let’s just say they aren’t reliable. Funny thing…I watched a clip from Newlyweds (which I loved while Nick and Jess were making it) and seeing her NOW she’s not as endearing. That makes me sad since she’s the only celeb I was ever drawn to. Why do celebs even marry? So few last. I know their egos get in the way. Their ambitions are never put aside which anyone who is married knows that something has to give. I think their split is over the “children” issue. It’s so paramount to Nick to have kids yet Jess wanted to adopt first. Could they not of discussed this BEFORE the marriage? It’s hard to be judged by the world but they put themselves out to the world. Best to both of them……
