John Mayer moved along quite well after his very public break up with Jessica Simpson. But even with Cameron Diaz and the other rumored hook-ups is he still missing Jessica? A report from In Touch Weekly magazine claims that they has confirmed a recent report on Gawker that Jessica Simpson hooked up with her ex-boyfriend, John Mayer, 29, at his NYC apartment. The magazine reports this week that she was apparently spotted by one of his neighbors riding the elevator on the morning of September 9. At the time I believe Gawker called it the elevator ride of shame. The couple broke up in May, but a pal of Jessica’s tells the weekly entertainment magazine, “He is still texting her all the time, and is clearly still after her. I guess she had a moment of weakness, and she spent the night with him.” But the friend also adds that the brief reunion isn’t likely to lead to a long-term reconciliation. Jessica, 27, was in NYC for Fashion Week, but with John’s persistent text messages it appears that she may have had more much more than clothes on her mind. |
